Somali Refugee Atiya Haji Atiya will prepare an authentic Somali meal and speak on her experience as a refugee, member of the Somali Bantu community and as part of the The Women's Empowerment Project.

Join us Friday evening, October 23rd for a talk by Colby College Assistant Professor of Government, Laura Seay. Seay will speak on the development of African countries that have been effected by conflict. Native Ugandans will speak on their experiences developing local agricultural capacity and managing the effects of corporate agriculture in rural Uganda. $25/person includes talk, ethnic dessert and coffee.
