REGISTRATION POLICY ** * ** PENOBSCOT SCHOOL

Pre-register to avoid cancellation or postponement of courses.
Full payment must accompany registration. (No confirmation is sent.)
Trial-class fee: $25, applicable to tuition if you decide to take the class.
Registrations for partial semesters are allowed at a per-class rate.
Teachers may apply for CEU.
FINANCIAL AID AND PAYMENT PLANS are available for all courses. We are happy to take your questions, ANYTIME, at 207594-1084.

Refunds: If a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, full refund on paid tuition.
If you withdraw prior to the first class, full refund minus a $5 processing fee.
If you withdraw prior to the second class, full refund minus a $25 trial class fee. If you withdraw after that, no refund. Special exceptions may be considered.
Discounts: $10 Discount (on course $90 and above) on registrations made by JANUARY 25, 2013. Early Registration discount is not applicable to Payment Plans or Scholarship awards.

IMMERSION COURSES & 2-DAY WORKSHOPS
Full payment must accompany your registration form, by the registration deadline, 4pm on the Monday before the course starts. If you withdraw prior to the registration deadline, full refund minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after that time. Special exceptions may be considered.

1-DAY WORKSHOPS & COOKING CLASSES
Full tuition payment is required at time of registration. Withdrawals prior to registration deadline receive refund minus $20 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after that time, unless we cancel the course due to low enrollment.

CEU CREDITS
Maine teachers can receive Continuing Education Units issued through the University of Maine. They must be requested on the Registration Form, two weeks prior.

PER CLASS RATE
Please fill out a registration form. If you know the number of hours you are able to take,, multiply that by the rate - $14/hour – and pay that amount. Or, pay for each class as you take them, at $14/hour. Registration forms are found in the printed schedule, or at www.penobscot.us. The Early Registration discount is not available when paying per-class.

TUTORIAL CLASS RATE
$35/hour on contracts of 10 hours.
$40/hour on individual hours taken with PS instructors, on site at School.

Regarding LEVEL: After making a registration payment, students may try multiple classes during their first week, to determine the class most appropriate to their competency level and learning style
