Happy Spring! We are delighted to see flowers popping up, trees budding out, and songbirds singing the sounds of spring! Just like springtime’s new beginnings, with migratory birds speaking a hundred different dialects, language learning and cultural travel offers brand new opportunities as well! Foreign language study opens up a world of culture and communication across borders and barriers–something which always needs cultivation in our world–especially in this day and age.
Join us for our annual Spring Paperless Fundraiser and help celebrate travel, cross cultural communication, and fresh starts. Brighten up your world with improved foreign language skills, new friendships, and lasting community belonging.
This year we are not relying on promotions or gimmicks to entice you to give. We are simply trusting you to demonstrate your support with a tax-deductible charitable donation to Penobscot Bay Language School–at whatever amount makes sense to you.
All donations support the free and low cost community programming we offer Midcoast Maine and around the State. Whether you want more free language programming like Spanish Songs & Stories at the Rockland Public Library, French Movie Nights, Ecuadorian Folk Dance classes, or perhaps our ongoing effort to provide Free English for New Mainers, we hope you will match the value you see in what we offer our community with a donation that fits your budget.
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Riley School in Rockport this summer for a number of community cultural programs and summer camps for youth. Whether you decide to join us for our multicultural festival, a language immersion weekend, or a weeklong language camp for youth, we hope to see you and your family this summer!
