Join PBLS Staff & Volunteers for a FREE weekly Spanish language program–Spanish Songs & Stories–for families with children of all ages. This FREE community language & culture program happens each Friday morning all summer long!
Each session focuses on basic exposure to Spanish language and pan-hispanic culture through traditional folk/children’s songs from Spain and Latin America. Vocabulary and themes are reinforced through read-aloud activities with high quality and award winning children’s books, along with poems, song lyrics and other authentic sources. Of course, parents and older siblings seem to have just as much fun! All are welcome.
This class is especially fun for parents, grandparents, guardians, and older siblings interested in music, languages & cultures, and most importantly–fun & meaningful lifelong family learning!
