International Holiday Baking

The holidays are fast approaching and we have some holiday baking coming up.  Join us for hands-on baking on one or both of the first two Saturdays in December from 10 a.m. – 12 noon in our state-of-the-art kitchen.

Saturday December 3rd prepare treats such as Palet Bretons, a delicious, crumbly cookie perfect for Christmas morning Navettes tarnaises, an almond-based, oval shaped cookie from the south west region of France and Oreillettes, fried triangles of thin orange-flavored dough with Clovis Anjard of France.  On Saturday, December 10th join Portuguese native, Joao Bentes, to bake Pasteis de Nata, a Portuguese custard tart with a rich egg custard in a crispy pastry shell.
