My Grandmother’s Cooking: An Indian All-Vegetarian Dinner and Talk

January 16, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Registration Deadline January 13

Dee Patel, Rockport resident and native of India, will prepare a dinner of all-vegetarian authentic Indian food.

In India she began cooking as a teenager under the tutelage of her grandmother. Her passion for cooking expanded to the creation of her own recipes within the tradition and then to the very recent opening of Namaste in Rockport. She is eager to introduce delicious vegetarian delights to persons who may not yet know the joys of ordinary vegetables and the wonderful spices of India.

Dee will share her experience of coming to Maine, as well as her extensive knowledge of Indian spices and cooking. The public is most welcome to this cultural and social evening, presented in English.
