The Maine Way: A PBLS Fundraiser
August 12th @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Penobscot Bay language School is hosting a summertime fundraising event
The Maine Way: Celebrating Maine culture, history, the Maine way of life, and a new international destination for people to live, work, and call home!
Proceeds benefit PBLS’ intercultural community programming.
Explore Maine art, artists, local Maritime history, our many heritage industries and how the Pine Tree State is attracting new residents from around the globe. Participate in riveting discussions with a diverse group of panelists from the Midcoast region, discussing topics from the working waterfront, to the major workforce shortage we are facing now, and the ebb and flow of the Maine economy (past and present). Engage in networking opportunities with Midcoast Mainers from home and away, bring the family for lawn games, and enjoy a delicious Maine delicacy from Luke’s Lobster! This event is an all-around Maine-inspired evening for all ages (free entrance for children under 12)! Come eager to learn about our wonderful State and the unique place many of us call home Midcoast Maine.
