Japanese Flower Arranging with Sachiko Clough

Students gathered for Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging to create some lovely arrangements.  Armed with scissors and pruning sheers, the group considered lines, dimension, order and precision.  Fresh flowers from the Boston Flower Market and the guidance of experienced Ikebana instructor and natives Japanese speaker, Sachiko Clough proved perfect.  Participants brought home pieces to adorn the living spaces in their homes.  An introduction to Japanese Tea Ceremony rounded out the class.

Fresh flowers will be available again for our next classes on February 27th and March 26th.  Won’t you join us?
