Italian Cooking & Conversation continues with Vincent Carducci and Leslie Fillnow at the helm. Students have learned and practiced basic Italian while making savory items such as la pocaccia nella padella (stuffed focaccia), melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplant parmasean), pizza rustica alla napoletana, bruschetta al pesto di basilisco, inslata cesare (Ceasar salad), sorbetto al limone (lemon sorbet) and lamponi con aceto balsamico smalto (raspberries with balsamic vinegar glaze). Each session, participants cook and enjoy their creations. They learn about Italian customs, culture and the various regional specialties. This class starts again in April.
