This 5 week session is a continuation of Beginner Mandarin for students with little Mandarin experience, or those returning to the language after a break. Foundational skills including pronunciation of tones and sounds, grammar rules and sentence structure, and basic vocabulary will be covered. Cultural themes and everyday usage in Mandarin-speaking regions and countries will be discussed in this class led by a native speaker. Classes meet online via Zoom twice a week for 60 minutes. Classes start the week of May 15, 2023.
