Spanish Song & Performance

Tuesdays, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Join PBLS Executive Director Jared McCannell for a special online Spring Session Spanish class! Spanish Song & Performance approaches language acquisition through music and/or spoken performance. Students will pick several songs or spoken word pieces to work on throughout the six week session, learn lyrics, poetry, mimic and practice pronunciation, dive deep into the text and really dig into the language! Students can choose to perform a capella, read aloud/spoken word, or choose to accompany themselves with an instrument. Vocal repetition, group workshop, and class performance reinforce ongoing language skills of our students and build confidence and competency in use of Spanish. All levels welcome! Musical background and/or natural talent are not needed for this class!
